I nodded once, lifting the pack over my head. Before I gave it to Akari, I paused. Everything that I held dear was in this pack. Like the paper was Mizukis legacy, the pack was mine.

The anger drained from me as I stared at the pack sadly.

She stared at Jessilynn for a minute, "There she is. If you want to keep it and decided to not be an idiot, then keep it and come with me."

I inwardly cringed at myself. Seriously, Jess? You break down after LOOKING AT YOUR PACK? Who does that?

I nodded so that my emotions wouldnt bubble over and padded after Akari.

"Now, let's distract mum from Mizuki!" She smiled as she kept running.

Mizuki

she made it to the gate even though she was in pain and sat down. she then took a deep breath and screamed out mum. "MUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUM!!!!!!!!" she had an extremely loud voice so she was hoping that mother would hear her. maybe someone else who could get mom too.

She then tried to get up and couldn't now her legs wouldn't support her. she started to sing Powfu - Death Bed (Lyrics) ft. beabadoobee | don't stay awake for too long thinking 'at least i can go down my way now. ill climb up the gate and then fall of hopefully break me neck...



Mum.

She kept glancing at the object and noticed two running away from the house. she then heard from towards the gate someone yelling for her. "Mizuki. so you already know what you need to do." she mumbled and went after the two running away from the house. "when the gate opens they will get her anyway for she is already their. if these two are trying to distract me to save her then they do not know anything at all about Mizuki's location. well. they may now that she has called out..."

Icey heard Mizuki's screams and went outside. 'You okay? Cmon, you need to come inside.' She started to help Mizuki up.

Akari listened carefully to Mizuki yelling. "She's that way. Let's distract mum away from her!" She started running at full speed away from Mizuki.

Mizuki

"No Icey. i'm staying here. don't try and stop me. I know my fate. i think you know it two so i am going to die how i want to. not how mum wants me to or whoever is taking us wants me to." she said and took of the blood stained bandage from around her head showing that she had torn of her own ear. "So Icey. if mum wants me. she can come get me herself. but all she will find is a corpse. not a child. oh.... i just realised its my birthday today.... Icey. how about saying happy birthday to me for the last time instead of goodbye?"

'Nope, your not gonna die, either way. And also Ill say it when your about to leave. Oh and also don't ask how your two years older than me and I can still carry you like this.' Icey hoisted Mixuki up in her arms and brought her back to the house.
