And she would wait patiently

After an hour and a half, Lyina, the current High General, comes out to meet her.

Celeste had nearly fallen asleep. her eyes shot open when she realized the general was here. She looked like a hot mess. She was still a bit damp from the pond and had open wounds form the nature-birds.
"General! I bring news concerning the nature birds that recently ransacked my camp. "

She sighs and nods. She looks tired. "They've been aggressive lately. I've been trying to get all the camps moved away from their border, so just hold tight and wait to get moved. They won't stray far from the border."

"I managed to explore near one of the camps that was responsible for the latest attacks and get a general number estimation. I am certain you have thought of this already, but have you attempted to reach out to the water birds for assistance?" she asked respectfully

"Was it a female or male one?"

"It seemed to me like a primarily male populated camp, especially considering most shadow-bird captives were female."

She bowed her head in respect before leaving. She headed to her home, hoping to snag a few bandages of her own. She wasn't big on letting other people help her when she was physically vulnerable.
