I like that some of the gods look more humanoid and some look like monsters, maybe the humanoid ones are easier to talk to and more fair? Idk i don't think yu meant it like that, but thats what I see. The monster-like ones could be more tyrannical and harder to reason with

Do you want me to hook up nations with gods? Like, the Helihe Strongholds sound like the perfect name for Verasil's nation. (I mean I assume thats how it works anyway, there are 10 nations and 10 gods, so probably not a coincidence?)

Yeah I made ten nations for ten gods

Also this is just me throwing around DM experience and a mapmaker, I'm just a super visual person so this is just me laying out a framework. Most of it is vague enough to build on as we go. :>

Okay so we propose:

Verasil- Helihe Strongholds
Tempae- Briydor Highlands
Hira- Kingdom of Rostar (I took Lux's background into account here, as Briydor and Rostar are on either side of those mountains.)
Nex- Isle of Traysil (Because its kind of up there by itself...I wanted to make it...spacey ;3c)
Lythar- Isles of Etrana (because um, the sea, and its somewhat wedged between Edith and Sheyran.)
Belos- Adrue Meadowlands (because once again, plants and stuff. Also it kind of makes sense because its between Water-dude and Life-girl. Which plants and animals kind of symbolize.)
Noana- Holy Kingdom of Ruskar
Shaznir- Sheibar Desert (Why the desert? Well he's the god of time and order. I feel like, if you were walking through a desert, you'd definitely loose track of time, and it'll seem endless. And there is a nice kind of order in deserts.)

Between Dark-dude and Void-dude I have Hefros Underground and the Imperial Lands of Dreystan left. I can;t decide here, because I kind of want to have Dark-dude close to Space- lady, but at the same time "Hefros Underground" sounds perfect for dark-dude.

Anyway just my thoughts, you can do whatever you want with these but these are my pitches xD

I think I got everything on the thread set up. Since I did this all on mobile idk if any of the pictures are obnoxiously big but I tried to size down the ones that are.

I think I want to annotate the map with elements of each nations' respective god but for one I need to figure out who has what.

The underground is definitely intended for the forge god though I can do whatever with that area tbh, lol. The strongholds sound like a big impenetrable military area with tons of mountains and ore, it's perfect
Uh, Rostar I was thinking Light (we agree there so ay)
The Highlands would be Storm
Ruskar would be water maybe?
Dreystan would get the dark god
Sheibar Desert would get the time god
Meadowlands is obviously Nature

So that leaves kinda everything else to be whatever

ahhh i love the story. I cant wait to start writing stuff. I'm going to have a field day describing ****** xD I love doing that kind of in depth writing where you have to take everything into account to make the perfect scene. Like psychology, and terrain, and the overall situation. Like, I imagine at this point there are probably a fair amount of people who don't like Messengers because of the god's incompetence, so Messengers might have to go into society disguised. Of course not everyone outright hates them, but there are others who probably like to ask alot of questions like "When is the war going to end?" xD That probably gets annoying

Nah, I thrive off those kind of questions, don't worry about them bothering me. I do worldbuilding projects as a hobby.
Bothers me more when people don't want to get into detail at all more so since I have aphantasia and I literally struggle to write settings because I can't just imagine them in my head. It gets incredibly boring to me tbh

At least images and photos can still inspire me a lot but I like when people ask me questions because generally they would force me to think about things I hadn't considered before and I love that
