Conner twitched. "Oh. My. What happened?" he asked as Haka charged forward, yapping at Dimond happily.

"Haka." he said to the pup, dangerous undertone hinting that the pup should return to him. And the pup decides to ignore him.

She frowns, shoving her hand back into her pocket.

"My brother... He burnt my hand off... He hated me... I-I... I betrayed him..." She whispers, her voice full of pain and heartbreak.

Conner frowned. "I know how that feels. My sister is still an angel. Me? Well... i sorta dragged her down with me." he lowered his head, ashamed. He knew it was his sisters choice, but he kept blaming himself for that.

Suddenly Crow is on her shoulder, nipping her hair and chirping softly.
