Sage watched Kami leave. He sighed softly and looked at his shadow. "I guess we'll go back to the market, then. That's where everybody else like me is." He made his way back to the town he had just come from.

I nod, and turn back to the person who gave me my voice.
"How long will your spell last?" I ask, my feathers swaying in the air.

'Until I unhand you.' The wraith answered.

"And what does that mean?" I ask, confusedly twiddling my feathers around.

"When I take my hand from you." The elf said rather crossly.

"Ah." I say, probably not the most intelligent response. "I can stand being mute, if you want to take your hand away." I say, hoping that I won't end up tied to this person, with their hand on my face, or even holding their hand. I'm not really one of those people who love physical contact.

With a nod the elf faded away, leaving only Erlen in his place. The blue of his eye faded a moment and he stumbled back panting a bit. "Ugh! I hate the feeling of him taking over me! It's fine when he is on his own but using my body? Geez."

I shrug, and open a portal. I grab a pen and parchment, and begin to write. "Where'd the other person go?"

"He's still around, though he is in the spirit realm." Erlen answered, the elf lord appearance next him though he was the only one able to see him. "You can't tell but he's next to me right now."

"I meant the girl." I write, rolling my eyes. My feathers sway around, and I fiddle with them until they stay still.
