He didn't want to crush her positive attitude, so he just nodded and said, "Yeah." However, the nurse had said that she would have to turn Matt in, and the way she had gotten suspicious didn't really say 'oh it's okay I'm just going to let you guys off the hook because I don't think Intuitives are monsters'.

Lilura wasn't the best at deciphering emotions or deciding at how to react. She was just there as a -sometimes extremely annoying- opitmistic person that didn't want to go back inside the prison because that place had been terrible the few hour(s) she had been there.

And she hasn't even been experimented on yet. Casey really hoped that never happened, because, for all he knew, that might just break her. And he didn't really want to see her broke. He imagined Lilura as super depressed all the time and shuddered. Yeah, he would have to make sure that never happened.

A super depressed Lilura doesn't sound like a too happy future. It's probably best they all avoided that at all costs.
Lilura heads towards the cabin that Luca had showed them, figuring that the cops would be gone by now since the Intuitives were all caught from that area. It had been a nice house too. Almost like the one in the mountains... but more modern and 'homey'.

Very true. He followed, not exactly sure where she was going, having totally forgotten all about the house. Casey kept quiet, lost in his thoughts, trying to figure out a way to get rid of the stupid tracker things the guards had
