She freezes mid-step, looking back at him. Her eyes are cold and angry, clearly not at him but at herself. "Get out of here then! Stay out there and wait for us, I-I can do this, I-I have Kerri! Ash! You'll never survive this!" She snaps, seeming pained as she looks down at him with a furious expression, but her eyes showed the pain.

Ash glared at the kitsune. "I am not sleeping," he said sternly. And then he turned to Claire, silent, and went outside of the cement tube and into the acid rain. It didn't seem to hurt him though when it hit anything else, a wisp of smoke curled into the sky. He moved out of sight

He rolls his eyes and rests his head back on his paws. Lin has been asleep the whole time, as unlike the others she didn't incessantly refuse to do so.

She crosses her arms stubbornly, sitting down and making a leaf and vine bed for herself. She is soon asleep, unable to stop herself from closing her eyes.

The next morning, the rain had stopped and everything had died, though the ground still steamed. There was no visible sun through the choking clouds, but the air blistered with heat. Ash was outside the tube, sitting against it. He had his head back and his sword was resting on his knees. His eyes were closed but he wasn't asleep. He really did fear that if he slept he wouldn't wake

Kerri had gotten an hour or so of sleep, but kitsunes only needed two or three hours to feel well rested. Lin had slept like a rock.

She gets up, brushing the flowers from her hair. She stretches, shaking her arms and legs and popping her knuckles as she wakes herself up. She yawns, rubbing her eye as she looks around to see how the scenery changed. She soon is skipping over to Ash, seeming to get her perkiness back with a few hours of sleep.

Gray eyes cracked open and regarded her blearily. He looked worse than he did the night before...His cheeks were hollow, dark circles crouched under his eyes, and his skin was almost translucent.

He shakes his pelt and stands.

Her mood immediately dampens as she gets a good look at him. She sighs, kneeling in front of him, "I don't know if any plants can help you... But here." She mutters handing him a small pile of leaves. "Ginkgo leaf extract has been used to treat a variety of conditions such as asthma, bronchitis, fatigue, and tinnitus. It is also used to improve memory and to prevent dementia and other brain disorders." She nerds out on him, flinching at the end. "I always do that..." She mutters under her breath.
