"Not surprising." Sonic commented. "Knuckles once told me that even in fragments, that the Master Emerald still gives off energy. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the same case,"

Pearl:"So if we get enogh fragments we can put the together to null the effects of the Ruby"

"Im fine now though!" Gadget said. Knuckles stared at him a moment as if suspected a lie, but then nodded in satisfaction. He summoned the Chaos Emerald. "We jist found this up by Azure Lake." He said. "Amy wanted to go look for the others with Rookie there,"

He shot a glare at Rouge. "Don't even think about it Bat-girl," he growled. He handed the Emerald to Amy. "Right. When it starts reacting, you're close to another one." he said. "Now get going,"
