Jumping out of the water Ajal grabs Sonic and drags him into the shallows, "I'm gonna help you get over your fear of water once and for all."

Sonic yelped in shook, eyes wide, quills flared up defensively, and pupils small. He involentarily kicked Ajal in the stomach in his panic.

Ajal took the kick but refused to let go as he gently splashed water on Sonic, "Watch Clay's strokes."
Clay was doing a backstroke in front of them.

Sonic was too preoccupied with his frantic struggles to really notice. His quills quivered slightly with tension.

Ajal tightened his hold on Sonic, "Clam down and please pay attetion to how Clay is swimming."
Clay switches to a butterfly stroke.

Sonic's eyes snapped open and he booked it as soon as Ajal's grip left him (The water was shallow enough for him to stand in), back onto the safety of the stone platform.
