Hatter glared at Sharkfin and Ace, but mostly Ace. He stormed away into the woods, muttering silent curses.

Emerald watch them, feeling sad. Pheasant wasn't her for her to talk to. She was alone. She pushed the thought aside as she sat next to Maple, petting his head gently.

Ace tried to pull Sharkfin even closer, a big grin spreading across his face. He tapped Sharkfin's cheek, muttering about how being single was the worse.
