(I dont think the Ruby is actually a ruby, kinda like the Emeralds arn't actually emeralds. Keep in mind, the Phantom Ruby was first found less then a month after the events of S3&K.)(Also, jackals are canines.)

Sonic looked at the screen a bit longer, shook his head and sighed. "None of this is new info. We've already seen what that rock can do. The question isn't what the rock is, the real question is how are we gonna stop the owner of said rock. Because at the end of the day, it's still a rock. So," Sonic said, pulling up a chair. "What useful information do we have on Infinite and his shiny rock?"

"Yeah. He naturally assumed his colors there would do most of the scaring for him," Knuckles remarked. "You can pick him up if you want. He may not like it, but he isn't poisonous or anything,"
