"Claws up, teeth ready, FIGHT!" Vermillion calls out.
Death
I circle around, planning to attack Leo from behind. She mimics my move, circling to keep me in her sight. Let's try a different tactic. "Dragonbite viper!" I point at the ground behind her, making my expression one of fear and horror. Leo looks behind, her nervousness making her movements jerky. You didn't foresee that, did you? I think to myself with a triumphant smile. Lunging forward, I claw at her tail, aiming for the weak spot all dragons have before she realises it was all a trick.
Shimmer
I watch Shard advance forwards, eyes glittering with malice. She opens her jaws in preparation to blast me with Frostbreath. Right before she gets close enough, I snap my jaws open. Hopefully she doesn't realise I'm not close enough to hit, I think to myself as she flinches, closing her jaws and quickly stepping back. Taking advantage of her hesitation, I jump as high as I can and land on her back, narrowly avoiding a faceful of spikes.
Leo Dragonbite viper?! Where?! I quickly turn around, frantically searching for the serpent. The ground is empty. It was a trick! I turn around again just as Death rakes at my tail with his claws. Roaring with fury, I slash at his neck, managing to give him a deep cut before he twists away.
Shard
"Get off me!" I snarl, shaking as hard as I can. The weight on my back disappears as Shimmer gets flinged off, crashing into the wall with a series of snaps.

I leap at Lizard, ducking under his tail I blast fire at his neck. Lizard roars in pain and reaches for me, sliding under his wing I rake it with my claws DEATH should I use my venom on him?
(Lizard)
I roar as I feel the fire touch my neck Fire is one of her powers okay, I can work with that I stretch one of my talons forwards wait where is she? suddenly I feel my wing being ripped, I leap backwards then grab Galaxy and slash her neck

Death
I growl at Leo, blood dripping down my neck. You asked for it! With a ferocious snarl, I lunge forward and grab her neck, snapping it with a sickening crack. "You didn't see that future, did you?" I stand up, my vision blurry and movements unsteady from the loss of blood. Faintly, I hear Galaxy speaking to me using her mind. Do it! I shout back at her.
Shimmer
I stand up and wince, feeling the nerves in my wings twinge with discomfort. Wing's broken, shouldn't be too bad. I can't fly with these bands anyways. Behind my, I hear a loud crack. My friends! Are they alright? I quickly turn around and, to my relief, Death standing over the dead body of Leo. Galaxy and Lizard are fighting to my right. Before I can find out who was winning, Shard tries to claw at my neck, diverting my attention.
Shard
I run towards Shimmer, trying to kill her before she regains her balance. I raise my talons and bring them to her neck. She twists away at the same time and whacks me on the snout with her tail before lunging forward with her jaws wide open.

I fire my venom at Lizard and claw at his eyes and twist his neck before slamming him to the ground and biting him

"Death, Shimmer and Galaxy win!" Vermillion announces. "Guards, take them back to the prisoner towers," Queen Scarlet orders.
Death
"We won though! You're meant to set us free!" I protest as the same three guards from before take us back.
Shimmer
Ignoring the fear in her eyes, I shoot a jet of frosted venom, aiming for her working eye. The venom instantly begins dissolving her skin until... I- I actually killed her!

Death
The guard drops me onto the same tower as before, locking a jaw band in place.
Shimmer
The guard does the same to me, twisting his spear in the band to lock it in place. I thought they were meant to let us go? Isn't that what happens to all the prisoners? I ask with my mind.

I reach for my pouch to get my healing stone but find nothing but empty air. They took my pouch away, I think to them with a sigh.
Shimmer If only Scorpio or Cobra were here. Then we could heal ourselves with magic.
