I glance down at the trio of SkyWings flying towards us. We're fighting already? Each SkyWing lands on our prisoner towers, taking us to the Arena.
Shimmer Who will we fight? I look around the dusty Arena as the Skywings unlock our jaw bands, quickly taking off into the sky before I use my venom.

"A strong one, aren't you? I think this battle will be absolutely thrilling." Queen Scarlet says from her throne. She motions towards the three guards and they quickly fly off, bringing down an IceWing, SandWing and NightWing. "RainWing, you will fight the IceWing. NightWing, you fight the Sandwing." She hesitates for a moment before speaking again as if unsure what tribe Death belonged to. "Creature, you'll fight the NightWing."
Death
I narrow my eyes at my opponent, noticing the silver tear-shaped scales besides her eyes. "Great, a mindreader," I mutter to myself. Who knows if she has prophetic powers too?"
Shimmer
"An IceWing?!" Does she know me? I catch the angry glare she shot at me. Dang it, she knows me. A wave of pale green spreads over my scales. Cut it out, Shimmer, I scold myself. You've fought her before and won, although, I didn't have any bands back then and could camouflage easily. I change my scales into royal blue and lavender, mimicking the shine on her scales by dotting my own with silver.
Leo
"You're right, non-tribe. I can see the future," I hiss, my forked tongue flicking in and out. "And I foresee this won't end well for any of you."
Shard
I gaze in bewilderment at the RainWing, noticing how spiky her frill was. It's Shimmer! Subconsciously, I touch the scar on my eye. Back when Shimmer was fleeing the Ice Kingdom, she had fought and made that scar, rendering the eye unfunctionable.
