Casey had to slow so it was easier for Lilura to keep up, but he didn't mind.

Conner was trying to distract the guard so he would fire at him instead of Matt

The guard called for backup, firing at Conner before returning to Matt - who still had the gun - and then back to Conner, clearly uncertain on who was more dangerous.

"I think that is our cue to leave as well," Matt says after shooting the guard in the neck, and the guard crumples. "Gah, I don't think I like killing people." Matt says, swaying a tiny bit on his feet. He refocuses, ready to run away with Conner.

Conner throws Matt on his back, as he was obviously going to be slow with his wounds, and ran after the other two. Seeing as large as his wolf form was, they went flying

Matt clings on tight, not wanting to be left behind. He was feeling weaker... I seriously didn't think the guards would actually upgrade their security. It's usually easier to escape... Matt thinks to himself, the world slowly turning dark.

Lilura races next to Casey, heart pounding. She wasn't used to running from police - or anyone - with guns - or anyone with anything.

He tries not to just pull her along. If he had time, he would've just picked her up and ran with her like that.

Conner and Matt were soon caught up with the other two

Matt lifts his head from the wolf's back long enough to tell where they were and where they needed to go. "That way... A possible exit." Matt points.

Lilura glances at Matt. "Oh no, what happened to you two?" She asks before mentally kicking herself. They just faced off guards with guns.

Conner couldn't answer. He led them the way Matt had pointed, Casey dragging Lilura along

They reached a back exit door.

Lilura hesitantly opens it, unsure if an alarm would- Nope, there was the alarm.

Matt curses under his breath. So apparently not only did they upgrade their forces, they also upgraded the exits too.

"Let's go!" Casey pulls Lilura out of the building, Conner right behind

And they were out the building heading to who knows where. They found themselves in a dark alley. Matt tries to help get everyone out of the maze of streets to where they were actually somewhere not anywhere close to the prison.
