Before the bear got sprayed with the horrible smell, it whacked Ash away. Ash was hurled into a tree with a sickening crack and crumpled to the dirt in a heap.

Raven saw this and said " S-should we go help him? He.. He is hurt.. he might die. " She wanted to repay the favor but she didn't want to upset Sawyer at the same time. She was very conflicted on what to do or how to believe or stay loyal to.

"Raven, it's fine. The camp is just ahead, he can walk to it," Sawyer said, not able to look her in the eyes. Ash would be fine, unfortunately. Ash pulled out his sword and put the point of it into the ground and used it as support.
