There wasn't much to see except for the ghostly lights, until you see something strange... a large, rectangular mirror stood up from the middle of nowhere, glowing with a soft light. The frame was made of something like black metal, you notice, but you couldn't be sure of anything unless you go closer.

The rocks were coming faster and faster... one scrapes against your arm, leaving a stinging feeling.

"...Focus, what is that?" Iist stopped walking when she saw the mirror, cautious that it might be a trap that bore a curse like the other creations in the forest that the dragoness spoke of. "Is it safe to get closer?"

Focus seemed surprised. "I don't know, really. It wasn't here when I went to sleep."

"Hmm." Iist slowly approached the mirror, close enough to inspect it but not too close in case it might suck her in.

It seemed like a normal enough mirror. You could see a somewhat distorted you in the mirror.

"It looks like a mirror." Iist stared at it straight on, examining her weird reflection. "But why do I look off?"

Your reflection stared back at you, tilting her head and waving.
