"I'm alright," She says hesitantly, shifting her one of her wings to cover up her now throbbing side, "I think all the doors are open. Including the ones leading to outside. We need to escape. I want to see the outside world don't you?"
Boreal was brimming with pent-up joy. She had never been able to be so close to Kora, "We will get out. I'll make sure of it." Boreal leans down and picks up Kora, placing her between her wings so she can hold on. She can travel faster this way, and stay together. Boreal stands up, flinching at the painful retort from her flank. She trots down the hallway trying to find the exit.
"Where do you think the exit would be?" She pauses for a moment before adding, "Your nose is better than mine. See if you can smell fresh air."

She had felt the flinch after being placed on her sister's back. Of course she was worried about her. "Are you sure you're alright? I can walk just fine." Her tail had curled up, making it so it wouldn't drag on the ground. She had nuzzled her snout into her sister's back fur.
Boreal was so much taller then her, it was almost scary being this high. She could smell something that wasn't like the cages or the place they were in. It almost smelt nice to her. "I think it's to the right, it smells pretty weak. I don't think we're very close."
(How dare you kidnap me, smh.)

"I'll be ok, don't worry." Boreal ran down the hallway to the right, making sure not to go too fast do Kora won't fall off. She was determined to get there before the power turned back on or the fire consumed the place, whichever came first.

"Okay, fine, but then we get as far away from here as possible. Don't want to come back." She would be disappointed in herself if they got out only to be taken back. She swerved left. Then she smelled it too, crisp and cold mountain air. She looks around, spotting a ramp leading up, and inhaled again. It was definitely coming from there. She runs up the ramp, coming out into a snowy evening in the mountains.
