Extravagant carpets line the room, beautifully carved desks and plush chairs litter the area. Every single bookshelf is filled to the brim with books. There seems to be someone else here, as well. Their back was turned to you, and they seemed to be looking for something or some book in the bookshelves. They wore a large white hat on their head, a blue shirt, dark coloured pants, and a white apron. They also wore a tool belt around their waist, a green toolbox hanging from the side. I do not own this character

I watch her for a bit trying to figure out what she's doing and whether she was dangerous or not.

She was sifting through the bookshelf, humming to herself a happy tune as she did so. From what you could see, it was improbable to discern if she was a danger or not.

It's night now and everything is very dark. You stumble along and come to an old, broken down iron gate that swings open with a squeal when you push it. Inside, the huge abandoned mansion looms over you, the entire thing looking slightly creepy with its broken windows and whatnot.

I walk up to the mansion, trying to see inside the house. When I reach the door, I knock on it.

When you knock, the door creaks open with the force of your knocks. It seemed like this mansion had been abandoned and nobody was home - inside, you could see a pair of broken down double doors to your left, a pair to your right, and straight ahead, a grand staircase that had seen better days. A dusty old lamp sat on the banister of the staircase, somehow it is lit.

<sub>You are a detective. Your job used to be simple and you got things done, but you seemed to have fallen on hard times, and you don't seem to have as many clients as you had before.

Things got worse, too. At random times you would black out, and when you came back, things had changed; you weren't where you were before, people weren't looking at you the same anymore. And with all that, you couldn't even remember things, and you don't know what your body was doing during the times when you blacked out. What was happening?

Either way, you were now sitting in your dark office, brooding over the papers sprawled over your desk, wondering if you should get new lights and staring at a mysterious letter that had come to your office yesterday wrapped in a nice envelope made of brown paper. With your detective skills, you determined the letter to probably be from someone with a rather high status in society, but that wasnt the thing that intrigued you the most. What intrigued you was what the letter was requesting you to do.

The author of the letters child had disappeared, and you were to investigate.

Written in nice, little, neat letters across the bottom of the letter was the address of the mansion where she was last seen. You would need to go there to start your investigation.

Beware, though, dear player. This is more than just a mystery. Nothing is as it seems.</sub>


Why in the world had this been sent to him, sure they were a detective,but Tantei knows that he wasn't doing very well in the past times so it was strange to get cases like this, but who was he going to complain? But then how come not the police, they are more or less the usual ones who receive these types of notices.Was there even a listed name? Tantei sighs, he was over thinking this, or was he? Carefully putting the letter into his pockets he stands up. Walking towards the door, he might as well start searching, it wasn't like he had anything better to do.
