You approach the sylestie. It must be too young to know if danger, because it pecks at your sleeve without worry. However a ferocious scream makes you cringe. A large sylestie, probably it's mother, explodes out of the bushes and glares fiercely at you, looking ready to attack any minute. Uh oh...
You realize you will only get one shot.

It hisses at you and lunges, seeing you as a threat to her baby and herself. Before she can hit you however, your drayel jumps forward, blocking the attack. The Kelpari lunges, sinking in her fangs. The Aurleon backs off, shoving her hatchling into the bushes before hissing and disappearing.

You offer the hatchlings food, and when they notice you the male growls. The female hides behind him, but curiousity gets the better of her, or perhaps hunger. She steps forward, sniffing the food and taking it. Her brother decides it must be okay, and accepts food too. They must have been abandoned or something of the sort, because even after 10 minutes neither parents have returned.
