"daRKNESS NO STOP!" Coastal yelled, trying to fly after her.


Scorch flew through the air, trying to distract himself. What was he thinking? She was never really interested in him, she was just using him to get a bunch of stuff for free. He was so distracted he didn't even notice the roaring dragon rushing towards him.

Darkness collided with the SandWing and pulled them both down to the ground. She stepped on him and glared at his face. "Watch where you're dropping things next time, would you?" she hissed. She kept her eyes focused on him, but twitched an ear to Coastal in acknowledgment. She dropped the necklace on his face and stepped away.

Rhythm had just woken up to hear the others roaring about a necklace that fell from the sky.
"Wait, Darkness there is no need to go around biting other dragon's tails because they dropped a necklace. The ethical thing to do is to calmly confront the dragon and peacefully return their necklace," she said in a trying-to-be-the-voice-of-reason type of way as she ran to the others.
"And now I see that I'm too late. Terribly sorry about my friend who ever you are, it's just that the necklace you dropped accidentally landed on my sleeping companion here."

"A bit late for that now, isn't it?" Darkness asked, slowly regaining her temper. She looked at Coastal, then back at the rude SandWing. "But he has his necklace. You're welcome for that."

"I can't help it if I'm a heavy sleeper. It usually takes very loud roaring to wake me up early in the morning, like when I woke myself up the other day from that weird dream."

"What are- oh, wait. I remember that now. It was actually slightly entertaining, looking back on it," Darkness said with a faint smile.

"Sure if you don't take into account for the fact that I accidentally woke up everything within a mile radius," Rhythm said reflecting upon that moment.

Coastal looked back at the other two, then back at the Sandwing Darkness attacked. "Are you alright?" Coastal asked the male as she flew over. "I'm sorry about my friend, she has a bit of a temper. I don't get why she was so upset over a beautiful necklace being dropped on her" Coastal said, helping him up.

"It's quite alright" Scorch told the female who approached him. She wasn't nearly as pretty as Citrine, and was somewhat odd looking, maybe not even pure Sandwing. "You can keep this" Scorch told the strange female, holding the necklace out to her. Her eyes widened as she took the jewels in her talons. "Oh! thank you so much! they're gorgeous!" she said "My name is Coastal, what's your name?" She asked him. "Scorch, PRINCE Scorch" he said, grinning. "I hope to see you again someday, Coastal" Scorch said, shaking her talon and flying off


Coastal just stood there, dumbfounded and blushing. She had met a PRINCE and he gave her the most BEAUTIFUL necklace she had EVER seen. Coastal quickly flew back to her friends, a dazed smile on her face.

After seeing how Coastal was reacting to her present from a prince, a subtle, mischievous grin appeared on Rhythm's face.
As she walked up to the Sandwing, she whispered softly to Coastal, "Do you have a crush on that prince?"
