As diablo shut his eyes a unfamiliar voice filtered through his head,I can give you change little pup and he jolted upright his ears up

Fisher awakens when Diablo jolts, Are you okay?

He shook his head,"I- I thought I heard someone"

Kaladin looked shocked and almost offended. "What?! Of course not!"

I didn't hear anyone, Fisher squaks.

"Father," The leader puts a hand on the elder's shoulder, "Maybe he is telling the truth."
"Tell me what you can about Douglas," The elder asks.

Kaladin hesitantly nodded. "He has a twin brother, Skipper, though he did have a son at some point as well. He's a a medic-- was, rather, he retired-- though before that he was a soldier. Used a sling, I believe. A bit of a rough personality at first glance, but he really cares about people a lot..." He trailed off slightly, a bit lost in nastolgia for a moment before snapping back to reality. "...And good for a game of chess. There was something else, too. About that medalion. Somebody named... Roan, I think it was??"

The elder carefully puts the medalion back into Kaladin's medical bag before untying him, "Douglas and his mentor saved my wife's life and in return I gave them the medalion. You and your friends are welcome here. Bring the otter inside a tent quickly it might be heat stroke."
The leader nods as he helps bring Selkie into a tent.
