Kaladin yelped in slight shock, then dashed over to Selkie in one stride and rolled him onto his side. "Selkie, I swear, if you for whatever reason haven't been drinking this whole time..." He paused, then glanced up at the leader with a look of urgency. "We need to get him out of the sun, fast."

"Very well," The leader nods to one of the riders who dismounts and lifts Selkie onto a horse, "We'll go slow so you can keep up. No tricks though."

He got a bit red and his ears went down at the mention of the name,"Thats...that's not what I meant exactly"

Kaladin nodded gratefully. "Thank you very much. I'll explain what I can on the way."

"Answer one quetion first whose trail are you following," The leader asks.


"Oh sorry," Yannis apologizes.

Ganz tucked his hands into his pockets and took a deep breath,"I just,want to forget everything that happened back then"

Yannis takes a breath, "You may not want to hear this but your past is what makes what you; your future determines who you are."

"Maybe I don't want to be me" he grumbled.
