She grabs Ironhorse's ears and forces his head back. By now the burns on her legs are making it so that she can't get off, even if she wanted to.

They burst out of the cave moments later, gasping, stumbling in the snow. Looking back, they could see dozens of green eyes skittering forward, heard the pounding hooves of Ironhorse as he followed close behind despite Isiea's efforts. Puck sighed, letting go of Lise's hand, rushing back to rescue Isiea. He turned into an incredibly large bird, similar to an ostrich, only much taller. He literally pulled her off with his beak, although it took a few attempts with her legs and Ironhorse still trying to attack. Eventually, though, he gets her off and sprints out of the cave.

She tries to force Puck to let her go, but she's been heavily weakened by the severe burns all over her body.

Lise lets go of Ash, watching Puck and Isiea. Once he brought her out, she wondered how they would stop the horse and gremlins.

"Keep going!" Ash cried, and whirled around. Closing his eyes, he brought a fist to his face and bowed his head. The gremlins swarmed toward him, and the red glow of Ironhorse appeared, flames streaming in the darkness.
Ash opened his eyes and flung out a hand.
A low rumble shook the ground, and the cave trembled. Huge clumps of icicles shivered, wobbling back and forth. As the gremlins reached the mouth of the cave, the entire ceiling collapsed with a roar and a sound like breaking glass. Gremlins shrieked as they were crushed under several tons of ice and rock, and the dismayed bellow of Ironhorse rose above the cacophony.
The noise died away, and silence fell. Ash, standing two feet from the solid wall of ice sealing the cave, collapsed into the snow.

Puck grabbed her arm, now back in his human form, pulling her away. "Whoa, whoa, princess. What do you think you're doing? In case you forgot, princeling there is the enemy. We dont help the enemy."
