She begins aiming at the dragon with her arrows laced with Datura stramonium, she continues aiming and firing quickly, at times getting it into its mouth. "Is it like A-X-L?" She suddenly asks, having an idea.

"A-x-l?" Ash asks, more than a little confused. "What's that?"

The dragon roars and attempts to breathe fire on the kitsune

Its successful, but because kistunes are fire creatures hes unharmed. Besides, the kitsune himself is still ablaze. He attacks the dragons neck.

"A-X-L is a top secret robot dog the military had made. It's a movie, he was made of gears and stuff, can we jam one of them and break him down from them? Stop him from running? Sort of like what you would do to stop a clock!" She says, continuing to fire laced arrows at the dragon.

The dragon threw it's head back, attempting to dislodge the kitsune and the arrows continued to bounce harmlessly off it's metal hide

Ash studied the dragon. There weren't any gears or anything like that. "So far it just seems like a huge mound of scrap metal..." Ash got an idea and told the kitsune that it might want to get out of the way. He already knew the he might be sacrificing himself for this, but he had a contract to fulfill.

She grabs his arm, glaring at him. "What are you going to do?"

The kitsune leaps off, nearby. Ash can feel the waves of heat coursing from the fox, even though he's several feet away.

Ash definitely does not like the heat, but he would have to deal with it at the moment. "Everyone go through the trod!" He ordered, ignoring Claire's question. Ash brought a fist to his forehead, closing his eyes. After a moment, he flung his hand out and opened his eyes. The action sent an icy whirlwind spinning in the air towards the dragon. The dragon shrieked as the blizzard whipped around it, coating the beast in frost and snow. A hoary rime caked its metal body, causing its struggles to grow weaker as ice weighed it down. Ash stopped, panting heavily. He staggered away from the now frozen dragon an leaned back against a post, closing his eyes.

His fur becomes un-fiery again, and he pads over to Ash to make sure he's okay.

She looks surprised as she steps towards the Trod, still watching Ash anxiously. "Ash, c-come on, you have to come too!" She snaps, grabbing his hand and trying to tug him towards the trod.
