'That's...doesn't sound quite like a nap to me.' Iist bowed her head. "I'm quite sorry I disturbed your nap! Did you get enough rest to restore enough energy?" She looked back at the Focus, wondering how intense her magic would be if it took thousands of years to store the energy needed.

The Griffin huffed. "He's a unicorn. He can't teach you his tricks, because you're not a unicorn. Anyways, let's start." The Griffin picked up a rather large rock and hurled it with surprising speed and accuracy at your face.

She panicked and try to dodge or block it

Focus huffed. "I suppose I've rested enough, so all's okay. Now, where are you planning to go?"

You successfully dodge the rock. However, as you straightened, more rocks were already flying at you. River and the griffin combined made a scary combination of rocks catapulting at you.

Iist looked into the darkness of the forest between the trees. "I...honestly imagined I'd explore this forest for clues about the whereabouts of the Creator's portal." She realized that the plan she had in her head sounded foolish when saying it out loud, as if she was traveling blindly. "I thought that maybe I'd find new clues that other adventurers with the same goal as I do haven't seen."

"Well, the forest has changed in the last thousands of years while I was asleep. I can help you, but not so much since I've been asleep too long."

Iist smiled at Focus with relief. "I appreciate your help anyway. In fact, your company makes me feel better. I'm glad to have found you here!" In the scary forest, Iist believed that the power of numbers could make her exploration less harrowing.
