The red eye blinked and the entire scaly surface shifted, bringing it into the light. It was a dragoness... "What do you want, human?"

"Ah, um...hello," Iist said shyly. She walked back in front of Uje and bowed her head down. "I was just exploring the forest with my companion. I hope I didn't disturb you."

The king looked thoughtful. "Well, Matt, You could visit our mages to help." He suggested.

"Yes. You totally didn't wake me up from my nap." She sounded a bit pissed. "What are you doing here anyways? Not many travellers come this way."

"Sorry, sorry." She felt guilty for having disturbed the dragoness, thinking she was an object at first instead of a live creature. She was still thankful that she was sentient and not hungry for her or Uje. "I was just exploring for that same reason, that travelers don't come here often." She looked inward at the forest. "Is there any more in the forest that you might know about, per chance?"

The dragoness raised an eyebrow. "Surely you have some other goal. If it is just so explore, turn away. This forest houses the world's most dangerous beasts and plants."

"I...I see." Iist fidgeted a little, hesitant to find the words, but tried her best to stand up straight and be clearer. "I'm looking to help the god Destiny find the portal to The Creator. I came here in search for clues."

"Ah. So you're an adventurer? I met Destiny once. She's a nice goddess, and I'm sure that she'll help you if you went to one of her temples." She stood up, towering over you as she stretched. "I have been here so long, yearning for adventure. Would you take me with you?"

"Y-yes, an adventurer..!" Iist's eyes lit up with the dragoness's words. "You met her?? The goddess herself?" She felt insignificant compared to the mortal before her that knew the goddess firsthand. She blushed at the idea of her traveling with her. "W-well, if you don't mind, I'd be honored to have another companion!" she said with a grin.

((By going to one of the temples, did she mean having gone to one in the village as a backstory? Or if there's a Temple for Destiny in the forest?))
