(I know most ships would have 6-8 below deck and sometimes depending on what type of ship would have a few on top...most just have a gundeck so...yeah)

"Things have only gotten this bad one other time. When we were attacked by Black Beard,' Caspian explains, "I trust Captain Waverider to get us through this but it doesn't hurt to pray a little."

pray to who?God?He's been doing a gosh awful job of protecting the world Diablo thought to himself,"Or just hope mother nature doesn't have something waiting to capsize us" he remarked.At that something rumbled under the hull of the ship

"Seaweed will protect up from anything under us that might try to sink us," Caspian explains, "That's why he travels with us. Also don't you dare jinx it."

Seaweed is under the ship looking for potential issues.

"might've already done that" he mumbled under his breath.

Kaladin hopped up onto deck. "Everything's secure below." He reported.

(That makes me even more nervous because when someone says no reason there is a reason someone doesn't want me to know about)

Sighing Caspian puts a hand on Diablo's shoulder, "Sorry it's just storms make me a little nervous especially big ones. I had a bad experiance a few years before I met Captain Waverider and that's all I'm going to say on that matter."
