My eyes light up with delight. "Which spell? Which spell did you use? C'mon, tell me!" I demand, whacking Death with sand.
Death BE QUIET YOU IGNORANT SNAIL! If they find out, you'd better start writing your will. Galaxy, quite snooping. And it was just a disappearing spell, nothing too special. I decide not to tell her about the other one, in case she blabs it to everyone.

I catch the snail in my talons, crushing it. "Oh dear, I think I might have killed Scorpio the snail," I say in a mocking voice.

"Typical." I roll my eyes at Death and Scorpio.

I peer closely at the huge, looming cloud ahead. The shape of a dragon darts around the inside of the cloud. "Is it just me or do I see a dragon inside that cloud?"

"What is that?" I murmur, following Death's gaze to the thunderhead.

"Because that's Darkstalker," I answer grimly. "He's coming to see if we completed our mission and the give us a new one, I would presume."

I supress a shudder. "He doesn't seem very pleased," I comment, watching the huge NightWing-IceWing hybrid fly towards us.
