The deer collapses as the spear hits it's leg, as the narrator decided to ease your bad luck so she could spring it on you in the future.
What do you do now?

She praised the narrators for saving her bad luck for when she could actually die then take the deer and kill it properly with the spear, looking at Tori and grinning. Sorry you had to see that. She began hauling it back to the town as quietly as possible

(oh lord, when my character finds out about the candy she's going to pull a storm..)
