He closed his eyes for a few moments before opening them, looking almost desperate. "I try. My whole life, I've tried to be an optimist. Look on the bright side, I always say. Life dealt me a lousy hand, and I'm going to make lemonade. But it's not always easy to make lemonade out of playing cards."

The bird gently touched the top of your head with her beak. A large tongue snaked out and tasted your face. Then, she got distracted by a coyote running off. Quicker than lightning, she spun around and clamped her beak down on the coyote, eating him in one bite. She returned to you again afterwards.

Zebulun clenched his jaw together, obviously not interested in pursuing the conversation further. He didn't seem happy with you, though. The man from before looked at you again. "So, uh... Would you take the box?" he asked awkwardly.

His face lit up as he saw the necklace. "Yes! Yes! That's the necklerace me boughten for me wifer! That es it!" he exclaimed, bouncing up and down a little. "Pleaser, take me prizer!" he continued, pushing a small doll towards you. She was rather pretty. Her glass skin was pure white and she had dark hair. Everything about her was dark save for her pink blush cheeks.

She smiled at you. "That sounds nice," she told you. You've gained a new companion!

(Will do form later as my laptop is restricted). What do you wish to do now?

a) Say something
b) Continue in the tundra
c) Go elsewhere

A) Ask her what her name is.
