(hehehehehehehe yeshhhhhhh...... the Alamour were sort of cosmic wayfarers, they had a multitude of intergalactic colonies. I reference Torion who's very much a half-breed- it's possible there was a group who got stranded somewhere near the elves a couple hundred/thousand years ago? Either way this ought to be fun >:)

(maybe some of Vyrhys' relatives, great-aunts, uncles, the like were on an expedition a loooooooong time back, but wound up crash-landing somewhere near the elves' planet? They merged into the Elf culture and created their own subspecies, the Qietl. So all Qietl are distantly related to the Alamour that crash-landed two thousand years ago, and therefore a good portion of them are related to Vyrhys and Torion since part of their family wound up with the elves! Vyrhys was not aware of this..... um.... EVENT but he does know a couple of his relatives went missing and were presumed dead near where the elves lived. He's in for a shock >:D)
(I imagine he's just at the conquerer ball, in disguise, and he's like holy HECK dat lady looks just like an Alamour xD)
