I followed quietly looking straight forward biting the inside of my cheek outta nerves.

"just have manners and say Mr and Mrs since its your first time here" she smiled and opened the door

Riley stops here and plants his feet, not wanting to go another step. He didn't like not knowing, that was for sure, but he didn't like following orders or rules or anything. He stubbornly did not want to go to this strangers house. Not that he feared her or her parents or anyone else. It just... felt too much like he had to do it and he didn't want to because of that. He grumbles to himself and had to get control of himself again as he forces himself to head in. The more information the better.

Annalise waved to her parents "these are my friends there just staying for a few for school"

"okay hun just make sure you clean up your mess i had to clean your room again today" she said handing her some cookie "and behave" she kissed her cheek and went back to cleaning the dishes

"okay mom" annalise held the cookies and motioned them to come upstairs

Lish siad a polite hello to the parents before following Annelise. he felt a small pang of jelousy when her mom kised her, he'd never really had parents that would treat him like that. Excluding his host family, who he was stil warring up to a bit.

She lead them to a medium sized room


"sit any where you want " she said putting the cookies on a desk by her bed

Riley didn't bother saying hello or find a seat when told to sit anywhere. He stays next to the door and sits crisscross, ready to get to his feet when needed, though it may not look like it. He puts his backpack in his lap and hopes this will be over soon. His guardians would be upset that he was going to be late home as it was, and any later they'd have his head.

She looked at him "you alright?"

Riley laughs, "Why wouldn't I be alright? I'm completely fine and life's great, thank you for asking." He says with a cocky smile. Unfortunately, he wasn't feeling very bold. He was rather afraid since things weren't in his control.

Lish stands on the other side of the door, his street isntincts kickign in. Hed never liked enclosed spaces....

"On the bright side i doubt the Cheif's gonna mind ive decided not to show my face for a bit." He sighed. It wasnt the first time hed gone on the run. "So, this is gonna bad ckmignf rom a guy on the council but i have no idra who half of you are. No offene. Um, name's Lish by the way."
