Ethan gasped, clutching Floppy as he stared at the animals
"Don't go." His voice was quiet, serious. The perpetual goofy grin was gone, and his jaw was set. The look in his eyes was almost frightening. "This is bad, I can feel it. Jockstrap is up to something--he and his buddies were hanging around the yearbook department for a long time. I don't like it. Promise me you won't go." Jockstap was his nickname for the most popular guy at school: Scott Waldron.

Isiea stops at one of the cages. In it is a little blonde rat, smaller than the others, with bi-colored eyes; one red, one brown. Its fluffier than the others too, looking more like a mouse than a rat.
