"I see...I can understand wanting to go past limits to prove ones self...or just to show others your not all what they think...heh..." He said as he lowered himself to the ground and let the feathers and blades of his wings retract as they became skeletal and where able to pin firmly to his rib cage,his chokers glow flickering ever so slightly as he did this,then the pulse began on a steady beat like a timer. He got onto his back and went under the car.

Ken jsut watched, taking mental notes to himself in hisbehad.

Nicote came back at the 13 minute mark, with some small tools attached to his belt.

Sean had been able to identify that indeed where some pipes either dented or scraped enough to cause them to have small holes or become loose. "Hmm....thankfully the tank is fine,so the liquid sound must be that it's just low on gas,but the piping is damaged a good amount.Maybe from wear and tear or age." He said,sounding muffled under the car. He didn't come out just yet as he used his tail to wrap around a loose valve and tighten it. His back was hurting because he only had about 7 minute left to hold his wings in, without his jacket, in their skeletal form.

Nicote and Ken just watched. Well, Ken did. Nicote was messaging someone on his phone and grumbling about "annoying birdbrained roommates".

Hearing the faint sound of Nicote's grumbling,he shimmied out,wincing at his backs pain,but still rolled over and got to a stand,dusting himself off.

"How's it looking?" Ken asked. He'd started dealing ith the tire axles (which Nicote had ignored, due to his undertone ranting).

Sean looked at Ken,dusting his shirt off last. "Well,it's not as bad as I've seen it before,but it's not 100% pretty."

Kne shrugged. "Yeah, guy who brought It mentioned the rats or something got to part of it....surprised the whole thing is as good as it is."

Nicote cussed loudly at his phone. "****! Ken, lock up the shop when you and Sean leave. Bugface and Birdbrain "accidently" broke Flowergirl's mirror in her dance studio room."

Ken snickered. "Make sure to get it on video."

Nicote rolled his eyes and proceeded to limp off to get his backpack from the back room.

Sean winced at the loud cuss and watched Nicote with a worried gaze. "He's so stressed...I wish I could help." He said.Then added softer. "And yeah,the pipes have some holes and are fairly scraped up..."

Ken nodded. "Go ahead and fix them, if you want. And as for Nicote, well, he's....interesting. He hates people, yet has a girlfriend and knows too many people, he tries to cut himself off form everything yet knows what's going on without being told, he pretends he's being rude to you when he's actually helping, and he has way too many siblings for a normal person to handle.His brother runs this shop-sort of, anyways-and Newt, the really white-ish dude with the glasses, he's Nicote's "twin". Long story." Ken quickly added.
