Eva nodded somewhat understanding the logic. "Well I'm sure he has someone who'd miss him still. I mean that person from the shop would miss him. And, you would too, wouldn't you?" She asked hoping she had not offended Scarlet by saying that.

Scarlet nodded slightly, " We'd miss him, maybe mourn him, but we're his friends. To him, if he became too attached to anyone he meets here he's stupid. They could be dead by tomorrow for all we know. He's more of a family man so to speak. If he had one, he'd leave the life in a heartbeat for them.. Well, maybe not that quickly but he'd try to be more careful. " Scarlet said, sighing slightly, " it's conflicting, I know. He knows people care but.. he considers this work stuff. We never really know him, and he likes it like that. "

Eva made a face biting her tongue. She looked like she wanted to say something but did not know how. FInally she made a face and said. "I respect that, but...I mean...if you never know someone that you've been so close to, how can you ever say you worked with him"

" Because technically I did. We are friends, we shared a drink or two, we've been on jobs.. But if someone came to me asking what he did in his spare time? I wouldn't know. I know what he likes on the job, thats it. Not even the music he likes truly, because he helps with the band. "

Eva gave a small smile. "Well, I'm not sure how he manages the fact that no one truly knows him. I mean we all go about our days, but we never really stop to see the world through some one else's point of view."

Eva's thought was interrupted by Nathaniel. "As much as I hate to interrupt your talk of life, you guys got me thinking to what that man was doing here. If I remember correctly, he has unfinished business around here."

Scarlet nodded, " What exactly are we going to be doing about that? We aren't the only mob here, it could be anyone in the area. "

Nathaniel shrugged. *Youre the veteran. I just remember some faint story of what happened here ages ago.* Eva frowned looking off into the distance. *Something about a bomb which missed its intended target I think.* Nathaniel nodded and glared off in the distance.

Nathaniel frowned glancing off to the door nervously. "I think that might be it, but I guess we have to talk about it." He said. "Just don't mention it to Thomas."
