"Seventy five dollars and twenty nine cents." She said happily as she pulled out of her pocket. It was in a blue cloth pouch she make herself. "Uhh, muggle money." She said remembering where she was.
"Around a hundred galleons is a good sum." Beren said. "That'd be enough to purchase all of your supplies, plus a pet."
"Okay, cool," said Tinuviel, counting out the galleons, then a handfull each of sickles and knuts. "Done," she announced, putting the money bag into an inner pocket of her jacket. "Any other business here?" she asked, seeing as her brother worked as a curse-breaker for Gringotts.

Violetta grinned, she already knew the answer. "To get my wand." She said with a laugh.

"Very good, miss." The goblin said, taking the money from her. He put it on a special scale, which caused the money to disappear, replacing it with twenty galleons and twelve sickles.
"Might I remind you that you already have some gold from the school's muggle fund?" Abner asked.
(Also, you're in the UK, so you use pounds instead of dollars.)

Your mother led you into a small shop. In its display window was a single wand on a very dusty pillow. Your mom pushed the door open, the bell tinkling softly.

"Yes, but it is better to come with to much then too little." She said as she hesitantly took the galleons and sickles off of the scale. "Thank you Mr...... Goblin!" She said before turning to abner "where will we go next?"
