Aoi tilted her head

"Huh? Convert? What do you mean, Pyrus?"

Pyrus grinned. *convert he dark magic inside of me into light magic.*

Aoi's expression of confusion turned back to frustration.

"D-Didn't you HEAR ME?? I couldn't turn the dark magic in the staff to light! Those melty things dropped INSIDE YOUR CUTS!! IT'S THE SAME STUFF FROM THE STAFF! SO NO!!"

She got so mad that her eyes clouded with tears.

"I want you to live Pyrus...it's like you hardly take your own life seriously...it's not that simple...I don't even know if there is a way to save you and Coleen. UGH! Why do I just have to be so useless!? I just want to help! It's not like I can even DO ANYTHING without this stupid staff! And even then I'm awful at using it! And now you're dying, and I can't even save you! I can never save anyone! Not you! Not my parents! Not the kids at the mansion who needed help desperately! Not even Lilli when she needs me! I'm just hopeless...and now a close friend is dying in front of me...and all i can do...is sit here...and watch. Just like I always do. Just like I did...when they killed...mom and dad."

(Wow when I read that my phone crashed. Jeez.)

Pyrus froze, got up (for some reason), and pulled Aoi into a hug. *you always help. Being there means your helping. You may not be right in the problem, but your trying. And even if it doesnt work out, then you tried.* and he did something he didnt expect, or anybody.

He kissed Aoi.

On the lips.

(Thats a personal space violation but I have no idea what else to say. Plus Aoi is freaking out.)

(eh don't worry about it. She liked him, which was why all those pages ago she got flustered when Lilli asked Cole who the mum was.)

She blushes, not knowing what to do. She stood there, but then she opened her eyes, pain suddenly coursing through her, and fell back.

Suddenly her eye that didn't have an eye-patch on it (the right one I'm pretty sure) glowed white, and so did the black marks on the other one. Suddenly, there was a bright flash of light. The monsters where evaporated, the healing magic in the staff exploded everywhere. Millions of beams of light went up from the ocean. Pyrus was healed by the magic, and from the light. The light faded.

Aoi's hair was platinum blonde in color. White patterns were all over her skin. But...she was unconscious. And she was hardly moving.

Lilli uncovered her eyes from the bright flash.

"Huh? What just hap--Aoi!"

She ran over to Aoi.

"D-Da(ng)it...Aoi...wake up...Coleen! Pyrus! One of you! Try and find shadow energy for the staff to absorb! Don't use the healing spell though. She's half angel, but also half demon. Her body can't handle this much light energy. There needs to be balance. Quickly! There isn't much time left!"

(Yay, Im not in trouble :D)

Pyrus ran around to the dead shadow creatures with the staff, absorbing shadow magic. Coleen kneeled over Aoi, and brushed her hair. *well, I think we found Pyruses wife. If she survives. Thats good, right?*

Pyrus ran back with a staff full of dark magic. He kneeled down next to Aoi, tears in his eyes. He wiped them away, and put the tip of the staff on Aois chest, allowing the dark magic to flow in. He whispered, *please, Aoi, live. Ive been alone all my life, and I dont want that to happen again. I... i...

I love you, Aoi!* and he broke down quickly but quietly, and pressed his lips on Aois.

Coleen just turned around, and moved Lilli so her back was to them. *you probably dont wanna see this.*

Suddenly Aoi wakes up. her hair turns to it's original color, and she looks normal again.

"mm..umm..Py? Can I get up?"

Pyrus chuckles, blushing, and backs away. *sorry. Are you... alright?*

Coleen watches, smirking a bit.

Aoi smiles.
"Yeah I'm fine...Just kinda sore..But more importantly, are you alright?"

Pyrus nodded. *yeah. You kinda had a lot of light magic in you - sorry about that - and it kinda exploded. So I got healed. Yay.*

Coleen walked forward, and said, *hey, guys? I have something to say. Or rather, show.*
