"Lups on our way," He panted. "Lightning outside." Caravan spreaded his wing, showing it slightly burned.

Mango yelped as she saw Caravan's injured wing.

"Caravan, you okay?"
"Yes... Mango...."
"Good news, our egg has been born! Want to see it?"
"Alright."

They ran to their den.
Caravan looked at the egg, nuzzling it. This new generation was going to survive with their protection.
