Kaladin steadily apporached Kai and guided her back away from the stick. "Sorey James." He mumbled.

Kai allowed herself to be lead willingly.

Once Kaladin felt he had put enough distance between Kai, James, and the stick, he released the canine and looked over at James. "Do you need anything?" He asked.

"Alright then," James opens the pantry door and grabs the fresh spices out while keeping the stick there. He grabs a mortar and pedal from a cabnit and hands them to Kaladin.
