Knuckles dodge out of the way. Whips. They were a weapon, but weren't designed to kill like a sword or any other weapon was. They were simply an insturment of torment. But that's what stood out to him; judging by her choice, she didn't intend to kill... He pushed the thought aside for now, and instead reflected on his training. Like a bow, a whip was a distance weapon; If he could get close and stay close, he would have the advantage.
Sonic watched the battle. It reminded him of a circus, but not in a good way. No, circus wasnt right. More like a gladiator fight. He looked down at the Chaos Emerald Knux had tossed him, then a thought occured to him. He smiled broadly and gestured for Clik to come over.

when rookie howled it hurt my ears i pushed past rookie and ran out into the storm, i ran long and hard till i came to a smoke like wall, my wild self calmed down and my head cleared, "wha?" i asked, "kit! you went wild!" midnight yelled, i walked up to the wall and walked through, as i walked through i saw void drifting inside the void i saw in my dreams for a moment and then i came to a battlefield and saw void, my eyes narrowed, my muscles tensed, "you." i snarled.
