"Do you know any tactics they use regularly or how they can join shadows?" she kept on trying to calm the girl while gathering information

"They mainly stay solid. They can't completely turn into shadows, and only myth says their leaders can completely morph into the shadows. However, those so evil that are able to do that are bound to the mountain by their cracked souls." She seemed to be calming down. "They're always found in groups of 5 or more, and when they attack they swarm together to the hundreds, even thousands. Please, kind traveller, help me!"
