He smiled, playing it off.

Erin walked in behind the couple.

She looked up in surprise. " What are they doing there? "

Hearing Erin enter I jumped slightly and looked at him my eyes narrowed before closing my eyes and inhaling to slow the racing heart "dumb nightmares..." I growl.

Alec laughed slightly, "the nightmares still gettin ya Sammy...? Hows your eye?" He asked as well seeing the scar still.

"Charti... She was there... Ray wad gettin stuff and they jus stayed there..." Max said looking at her.

He nodded and the group before going into the cabinet and getting some cereal. Ray hugged her to him.

" If you ever have trouble with nightmares I can help you. " Rae suggests.

" Why was she there? "

I sighed leaning into him "what do you mean you could help... I have been everywhere... For these nightmares... They haunt me... So anything you can do will be greatly appreciated" I say my white and brown eyes trained on her.

Alec looked shocked "didnt know you helped with nightmares..." He says.

Max shrugged "lets go and find out..." He said.

Ray nodded.

" Well I still have nightmares sometimes about my mom..." She trailed off. " But anyway! " She cheerfully started again. " I know many ways to soothe nightmares. For me the most effective is writing down the nightmares and talking it out or aromatherapy. "

" Okay. " She says.

I stiffen at the mention of talking about my nightmares and my facial feature harden slightly, "lets jus say... Im crossing off the talking about them... Or writing them down... Wouldnt want them to land in the wrong hands..." I say stiffly.

Alec is shocked with how quickly his sisters mood changed "must be full moon tonight..." He said.

Max nodded slowly "its a full moon tonight... So... My mood will change..." He said chuckling.

" what about aromatherapy? "

" That could work. You don't have to talk to anyone about them that way. "

" What happens on full moon night? " Ember asked.

I shrugged not answering and I ran my hand through my knotted hair before finally getting it out of a slight mess.

Alec sighed "its been happening since she was caught by tje hunters... She hates talking about it... But she tends to ignore them or doesnt sleep at all" he said setting a hard look on his sister who glared back at him.

"You dont wanna know firefly... Lots... Shifting... Play fighting... Mating sometimes depends on the wolves... Others hide away from that stuff like Sammy..." Max said chuckling.

" Sam? What do you think? "

" That's not very healthy. "

" Oh. That sounds fun. "

I sigh and finally meet there gazes and clench my jaw "honestly... I think its the matter over mind... I will grow out of it... I have a few more years before I leave school..." I say tapping my nails on the counter in a reassuring tapping.

Alec sighed "shes got records for it... She once stayed up for... 8 days straight before I locked her in her room and forced her to sleep..." Alec said and Sammy threw something like a wad of napkin at his head.

Max smiled and nodded in amusement.
