"Most likely Ganz will eat it," Luna muttered.

Sonic nodded and trotted over to the window, peering out. "So, we're totally going after Edge Knight soon, right?"

Knuckles lead the group down the hall as Rookie watched their flank, keeping the guild at bay with bursts of flame.

"Yeah. Provably. Wait whos Ganz?"

"A friend," Luna spoke, "and no we aren't going after her."


Ajal kept up with them through sheer willpower.

Eventually, the wolves and the echidna lost the assassins on their tail and paused for a breather.
"This is Rookie," Gadget commed in. "How are things looking Ruby?"

Sonic groaned at Luna's answer and slupped back in a seat. "Bored."

Luna got something out of her bag, "Read this then."
She had handed him a comic about a daredevil runner.


"Good here no sign of Hagin though," Ruby reported.
Ajal panted and breathed hard but he kept going.

Sonic glanced at the cover for a moment, then shrugged and accepted.

Knuckles quickly snagged Ajal by the arm. "Look. We're in the clear for now. Breath and make sure that stuff in your veins is actually blood and not adreneline."

Luna went back to cooking and cleaning up the mess.

Ajal shruggs him off, "I'm fine."

Literally a minute later, Sonic was pacing the floor again.
