Raven sighed and said, " Before I came around he only cared about you and his siblings. "

"Yeah right. He'll probably just hide in the athroom or leave or hide under the punch table-he did that once. And remember, he's deaf. He won't hear anyone over the loud music. Trust me, we tried. All that happened was that he ignored us for a week, and got even more bookish if that's possible."

Sawyer nodded. "So now that I'm paying more attention to here you think I'm pushing you away. I swear I'm not, though." As the sun sunk behind the mountains, the nocturnal animals started to emerge. Sawyer stood, offering a hand to Raven

Ash was nowhere in sight, and all the cabins and tents were empty. His horse was in the camp, though, so he must be somewhere near, right?

" Oh wow really? "

Raven smiled and took his hand, standing beside him. " I won't think your ignoring me, I understand you have a life. Some people don't.. I mean we haven't been together a week yet she goes off on you like it's been months. "

Newt actually put down his book. Reaching into Phoenix's pack he pulled out a lumpy boxlike item. "This still works? I thought you broke it on our last campign trip."

"Fixed it. Look out-the new button makes it explode in your hands."

"Great addition. DId you bring the one with the chemical inputs?' Newt had his face turned towarsd Phoenix, the only reason he understood what he was saying. Mostly.

"Yeah, go ahead."

"Good." Newt stuffed the first box back into Phoenix's pack and pulled out another and started to fiddle with it.

"It's fine, she's just jealous that she doesn't have anybody," he said, a gentle smile on his face. "So, you want your own cabin or you wanna sleep in the tent with me?" He had no intent on doing anything tonight but sleep.

(What if Raven has a nightmare about Moon and Ash is still up, watching the fire and also basically protecting the camp?)

" Can I stay with you? I kind of want to cuddle.. and be beside you.. " Raven also had no other intentions but sleeping. She was honestly exhausted.

( yes it's gonna be so good...it's already driving me crazy.)

Sawyer smiled. "Yeah, of course." He led her to the tent. A couple of blankets were set down and then there was a couple of sleeping bags. Sawyer figured he probably would just sleep out of the bag and take one of the blankets

Newt walked to the fire, still fiddlign with the box. "C'mon...work...Hey guys, I got 38. 4, that pop rock station!"

"You're seirously playing the radio? Why did you two morons bring that thing? Ugh wahtever. Good night-I'm gonna sleep. Please don't play it any loudder then a 3." Peggi went in one of the tents.

Newt and Phoenix highfived. "Signal range 31...."
"So sound waves equal 9..."

(Phoenix wil lbe his noctournal self and sit in a tree.)

Since she was so tired, she just set up an area for herself and said, " Is there an area I can change in? "


Luna suddenly got excited " Wiat you have punk rock? "
