They sat next to her, savoring their muffin and thinking while watching a fountain. They stared into the water like they were trying to figure out how it worked, but they were spacing, looking back on Mari's past.

Mari watched expensively dressed people cross the street, couples having make-out sessions, and people talking on their phones while holding many shopping bags. Her eyes drifted to Guru, who was looking at a fountain, she went back to studying the streets.

They drift out of their study-like state and looked to Mari, who was studying things, like she was planning a battle attack. "I'm going to get you another brownie." They put their muffin down and go to get her another double fudge brownie.

She looked at him. "It's fine, I'm good."

They come back with the brownie and hand it to her.

She woke up. It was May 3 today. Her birthday! She immediately frowned when she noticed no one would celebrate with her. She got out of bed and walked to the living room of the apartment they had started to rent out.

"Happy birthday!" They hand her a cake made entirely of brownies. "I made it by hand this time!" They also handed her a small gift wrapped in what seemed to be gold, but it got turned into a shiny paper.

She squealed. "How did you know?" she asked, taking the present and opening it to find (Whatever is in it). She took the cake and sat on the sofa, admiring it. "Thank you." she whispered in awe.

"I see all and know all. And it's no problem." They said in a no-big-deal sort of way.

She gave him a big hug and put on the necklace. "I don't know how to thank you." she said her cheeks flushed with excitement.
