"Trails tend to vary on length on evidence, seriousness of crime, witnesses, the list goes on," Skipper got up and grabs a blanket from a nearby cabnit. After a few seconds he hand the blanket to Kaladin, "Get some rest Kaladin I'll fix lunch."

Kaladin eventually lifted an eyelid again about an hour later, not entirely sure what had roused him; He had half-expected to slip into a comatose, torpid state by now.
