Facing Luner Douglas speaks calmly, "Your Highness, esteemed council members I am not guilty of killing Mister Riley Gulo. When I left he was alive merly bruised less then I am since he and his three sons attacked my apprentice. If you do not believe me look at my walking stick which I used as a staff. If I caved Mr.Gulo's head in wouldn't it have blood on it?"
"Perhaps you wiped it off," A younger wolverine speaks.
"You oviously don't know how hard getting blood off a piece of wood without leaving a trace is."
Luner sits up straighter, "Bring the staff as evidence."

Kaladin shook his head upon hearing the wolverine. Murder was extremely uncommon within his clan, but what was common was one of his dying at the hands of the other tribe. He knew something of forensics, and Douglas was correct about blood on wood.

Chief Zono stands up, "Why don't we let another witness take the stand and give his version of events?"
"Who do you mean Chief Zono," Luner asks.
"Douglas's apprentice, Kaladin."
"What?!" Douglas and the three brother roar.

Kaladin whimpered and shrank back a bit at the sudden noise. I knew it! I knew this was a bad idea.

"Kaladin please come here," Luner calmly speaks, "if you wish you may tell me, in your own words, what happened."

Kaladin closed his eyes for a moment, exhaled, then slowly rose to his feet and made his way down the aisle.

"Mhm" she nodded spiriting ahead,

Collin paused upon hearing the fast-approaching footsteps. "Hm?"

She barreled past him and skidded to a stop,breathing hard from running."Found you!" she remarked happily

Collin couldn't help but crack a small smile at Evermore's antics. "I guess you did. And you are you today young lady?"
