(it's big enough for your character to kneel down and not hit their head against the ceiling)
You find some flint and some wood.

(So not big enough to start a fire in it and be safe) Cherokee tried to start a fire near the river (so she can throw water on it) with the wood and flint

it lets out a high pitched squeaking noise. a pause of silence then it calls back.
