He didn't realy knew how a simple conversation could have caused the shyer girl to act this way all of the suden and wasn't quite equiped to know how to handle this any ferther outside of just letting her do whatever she wanted. So far he had appreciated Thema's compagny as her actions were alwais eather positive or neutral, the shift of tone was now slightly tipping the balance tho.

as the sun dips below the horizon, everyone returns to the camp, with the hyena skulking in the outskirts of our little camp, at the very edges of where the light touches. thema is a bit closer, though not much. that's fine, as long as they stay within the light, they should be safe from being eaten.

i shift into cat form, skin tingling a few seconds afterwards. i yawn, stretching and curling up right beside the fire and closing my eyes.

He stayed awake until the last bit of light had left the sky, admiring the colors it left behind as the last spectacle of the day then curled up around himself near the fire. Nested in his own tail it didnt took too long for him to fall asleep.

the next morning, i wake up as the sun rises, stretching and yawning. the morning is a bit cold, dew still clinging to the grass. despite this, i know the day will be just as warm as yesterday. my eyes are bleary with sleep, and i sit down to clean my claws while i wait for the others to wake.
