Vyla smiled and nodded, "What is that? We have never seen that before."
"It's... a fishing rod."
"Interesting indeed, it's used for fishing? How does it work?"
Tyka started to explain how fishing rods work, showing them how to make them, how to use them. How to catch food. She felt useful and that made her happy. She liked feeling useful.

Liana listened as well, gray eyes tinting with multiple colors as they filled with curiosity and wonder. She wished she had learned things like that so she could be of use. But she had just known herself as useless and that was that, the useless alley cat. That called herself Liana.

"That's all I know though," Tyka said after awhile, handing Vyla the fishing rod, "It was one of the only thing my mom ever taught me."
She sat down again, watching Vyla tell her soldiers about the fishing rod.
"At least we have a place to stay," She whispered to Liana.

Fiddling a little with some of her hair, the halfie nodded. Her feline canines kept biting her lower lip.

"Is something wrong," She asked feeling worried, her tail curling in concern.

She shrugged, turning to whisper to her. Her voice soft and now she must have been a good bit uncomfortable because her words where a little messy. "Feels likes no helped, no ables to helps."

"Sure you did, who helped me jump through the trees. Who helped me escape the village," She prompted gently giving her a friendly poke, "Without your help who would probably be dead," She pointed at herself.

Her kitty ears perked. "Oh. Did help. Helped Tyka." She still remembered Tyka's name.

"Yeah! So don't get yourself down because you can't help each individual person. Remember that you still help some people," She smiled, glad Liana had remembered her name and she still remembered hers.

The halfie smiled back, tail swishing happily and gray eyes bright again. The light gray seemed to shimmer for a moment with faint emerald and a swirling light quarts color of sorts.
